ENMA
Attendance Policy
Class attendance
is vital to achieving the goals of this course.
Many class periods include team project work and team and individual
homework presentations, all of which require class attendance, and which
constitute the major portion of the student’s grade.
The Marquette
University Attendance Policy for courses that meets one per week will be
adhered to: two absences are the
maximum allowed.
Given that the
majority of ENMA students are evening students, and that work assignments and
travel take priority over course activities, course attendance will be excused
when conflicts arise. Please contact the course instructor by
e-mail if you anticipate missing class.
ENMA courses are
project-oriented, with a final project presentation constituting a major
portion of the student’s grade. Ample
notification of final presentation dates will be given, and students should
make a concerted effort to arrange their work schedules to accommodate their
final presentation.
