Master
of Science in Engineering Management Program:
College
of Engineering ENMA Certificates
Recently, significant improvements have been made to
the ENMA course curriculum. The new Engineering Management curriculum naturally lends
itself to offering two non-degree graduate certificate programs:
The Engineering
Innovation Certificate prepares engineering managers to pursue
technically and commercially viable new technology-based products, processes,
and services. The New Product and Process Development
Certificate enhances capabilities of engineering managers to bring
these new opportunities to market in a timely and efficient manner. In essence, the Engineering Innovation
Certificate supports engineers in doing
the right things, and the New Product Development Certificate aids
engineers in doing things right.
The
certificate programs are designed
for practicing engineers and other qualified individuals with bachelor’s degrees who wish to update and/or expand their
knowledge in specific areas, but do not necessarily wish to pursue a master’s degree. Each graduate certificate program requires completion of four courses (12 credits)
selected from the prescribed
list of courses shown below. Students
must complete all certificate courses within a three-year time period and must earn a grade point average of at least 3.00 with no
grade below a C. Certificate courses are shown below, with
links to course syllabi.
